   Examples

   • “I saw him pick up my phone, and I felt afraid, because I want him to see me positively, which gives me connection”
   • “I heard her say ‘You’re dumb’, and I felt sad, because I want to know how I can improve, so I can grow as a person”
   • “I see them walk towards me, and I feel scared, because I want to be safe, so I can comfortably be myself”
   • “I’m imagining talking to her, and I feel excited, because I want to get closer to her, which will give me connection”
